    Introduction

    Mullite insulating brick made by CH refractories is JM series according to international standard.
    Because JM insulation brick with smaller bulk density whose strength is not as strong as heavy weight fire bricks, when delivering, CH Refractories will package mullite insulating brick with special packages to protect mullite bricks from damage.
    Mullite insulating brick is a new type of lightweight mullite bricks with 50-80% Al2O3, mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as main crystalline phase and binder phase. JM insulation brick is widely used for working face inner lining that contact flame directly because high temperature stability and high strength, low thermal expansivity and good thermal shock resistance. Mullite insulating brick became one of the research focuses recent years. Mullite insulating brick adopts high-purity raw materials and unique production process to minimize the influence of impurities and structural defects on the performance of the product. Mullite insulating brick adapts to various furnace types and different construction environment well. Mullite insulating brick is high level insulation products for kiln and furnace, which can be used for higher temperature insulating layer than common insulating bricks.
